LOCATION<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u0141eba Town is located 110 km north-west from Gdansk in Pomerania, Poland. S\u0142owi\u0144ski National Park (\u0141eba Moving Dunes) is located west of \u0141eba town, and the park\u2019s headquarters are in Smo\u0142dzino, south-west of \u0141eba. The main entrance to the park is in R\u0105bka, which is a part of \u0141eba town. \u0141eba can be accessed by public transport (rail and buses) and by road. Regional and national trains go through Tricity to L\u0119bork and terminate at \u0141eba rail station. The Gdansk area is accessible by two ferry connections from Sweden: Karlskrona-Gdynia and Nyn\u00e4shamn \u2013 Gda\u0144sk. (Gda\u0144sk has an international airport). \u0141eba town\u2019s geographical location is 54\u00b045\u2032N\u00a017\u00b033\u2032E.<\/p>\n

SIGHTSEEING \u0141EBA MOVING DUNES IN S\u0141OWI\u0143SKI NP<\/strong><\/p>\n

Climbing the dune \u0141\u0105cka G\u00f3ra (42 m tall) in the National Park is a must. There is no boardwalk available so you need to walk over the sands to get there. The park offers many more attractions and activities. There is a biking route going through the park, six hiking trails and two kayak routes. Amateur fishing is allowed in four catching areas both from the coast and from a boat – boating on the lakes is only permitted in a few designated areas. There are six sightseeing towers as well as six sightseeing piers on the lakes. There are two museums in the park: one focused on natural history and the other one describing the ethnography of the region. The park employees provide field educational services for individuals and groups, for reasonable prices. Unfortunately, the Park\u2019s website is in Polish only.<\/p>\n

ATTRACTIONS \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

S\u0142owi\u0144ski National Park has such a wealth of attractions that few tourists would ever feel the need to leave for a change of scenery.) South of \u0141eba in Smo\u0142dzino and the surrounding villages there are regional attractions associated with the local ethnic group, S\u0142owi\u0144cy. You can tour the remains of their historical buildings and see their typical farming and fishery artefacts at the Kluki ethnographic museum. Within the Park, in a place called R\u0105bka, there is a military museum dedicated to the launching of World War II-era V1 and V2 missiles.\u00a0 The nearby town of L\u0119bork is famous for its historical churches and old town.<\/p>\n
