LOCATION<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u0141eba Town is located 110 km north-west from Gdansk in Pomerania, Poland. S\u0142owi\u0144ski National Park (\u0141eba Dunes) is located west to \u0141eba town, the park headquarters are located in Smo\u0142dzino Village south-west to \u0141eba. The main entrance to the park is in R\u0105bka which is a part of \u0141eba town. \u0141eba can be accessed by public transport (rail and buses) and by roads. Regional and distance trains go through Tricity to L\u0119bork and end in \u0141eba rail station. The Gdansk area is accessible by two ferry connections to Sweden: Karlskrona-Gdynia and Nyneshamn \u2013 Gda\u0144sk. Gda\u0144sk has got an international airport. \u0141eba town geographical location is 54\u00b045\u2032N\u00a017\u00b033\u2032E.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

SIGHTSEEING \u0141EBA DUNES IN S\u0141OWI\u0143SKI NP<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Climbing the dune \u0141\u0105cka G\u00f3ra 42 m tall, in the National Park is a must. No wooden pavement, you go in the sand. However the park offers much more attractions and activities. There is one biking route going trough the park, 6 hiking trails, two kayak routes go through the park, amateur fishing is allowed in four catching areas both from the coast and from the boat. Besides, boating is allowed only in narrow designated areas of lakes. There are six sightseeing towers, also six sightseeing piers on the lakes. There are two museums which belong to the park: one natural and one ethnographic. The park employees provide field educational services for individual and group tourists for moderate fees. NP web page is only in Polish. <\/span><\/p>\n

ATTRACTIONS <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

\u0141eba Region is considered as rich with attractions and a tourist is not forced to leave the place to have the change. South to the \u0141eba in Smo\u0142dzino and villages around are the regional attractions associated to local ethnic group S\u0142owi\u0144cy, which remained historical buildings of their typical farming and fishery occupations (Kluki ethnographic museum). In the NP, in place called R\u0105bka there is a military museum of the launching center of V1 and V2 missiles from WW2. Nearby L\u0119bork is famous from its historical churches and old town. <\/span><\/p>\n
