LOCATION<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Gda\u0144sk is over thousand years old city in north Poland 54\u00b020\u203251\u2033N 18\u00b038\u203243\u2033E. Historically it was one of the most important trade centers in the region, and one of the members of Hanseatic League. Nowadays along with Sopot and Gdynia it constitutes a well-known conurbation called Tricity. It\u2019s well communicated. It has the airport called after one of the most famous citizens Lech Walesa. It\u2019s possible to get there by bus, or by sea. However most comfortable would be to travel by train. Gda\u0144sk is one of few cities in Poland connected with Pendolino trains.<\/span><\/p>\n

SCENIC CHARACTER<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Gda\u0144sk has a rich history, therefore many faces. It was a multicultural free city. It was a place where Solidarity movement started. It is part of the biggest metropolitan area in Poland those days. It\u2019s also a place where a tourist can have a good time on a beach, and take a sunbath.<\/span><\/p>\n

ATTRACTIONS<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Probably the biggest attraction of Gda\u0144sk is the Old Town. No matter the fact that most building were rebuilt after the II World War, it gives a glimpse of a magnificent history. Another historical place is famous Gda\u0144sk Shipyard. The place where the end of communism has started.<\/span><\/p>\n
