SCENIC CHARACTER
Skånes Djurpark ia an animalpark in Höör. It was opened in 1953. There are around 900 animals of 100 species. The majority of them are Nordic animals, but also orphans, that find a temporary home there. Animals generally are kept in large enclosures with natural environments. Skånes Djurpark is the world’s largest animal park hosting Nordic animals. There are bears, moose, wolves, lynx, the golden eagle, wolverines and a wide range of other wild Nordic animals that are tame and some farm animals.
ATTRACTIONS
Adult tourists as well as children can experience the scenic wilderness and share memorable, unique moments with animals. The park is full of magical atmosphere and filled with adventures. There is water fun park, that can be explored during hot days. A variety of exciting and interesting activities and expeditions are available: pony riding, animal feeding expeditions, flying shows with birds of prey, encounters with tame animals. Skånes Djurpark is a large park. Tourists should be ready for a longer walk. It is possible to hire a cart for bags’ transportation or tired children. In the area there are restaurants, some kiosks and plenty of picnic places.
