LOCATION
Kołobrzeg is a sea resort on the Parsęta River on the south coast of the Baltic Sea, located centrally along the Polish coast. It is communicated with main Polish cities by roads and by rail. Available also from the sea, especially from April to October. The city is located in West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland, 54°11′N 15°35′E.

SCENIC CHARACTER
From the old lighthouse by the port you may admire a beautiful landscape of the city with over a thousand years of history.Fortifications existed already in the 8thcentury. Salt trading contributed to the city’s enrichment. The spa was created in the 19thcentury thanks to salines. Kołobrzeg is famous for its clean sandy beaches where people may breathe really fresh air. If you don’t want to walk on the sand, the Kołobrzeg Pier (220 metres long) will bring you to ships rented for sightseeing tours. The seaport is not only a freight and passenger terminal, but also a fishing port and a marina. Kołobrzeg is one of the most visited places in Poland.
ATTRACTIONS
Lots of bars, cafes, restaurants, and a tourist information centre. Many of the restaurants serve local food. Visiting one of many wellness centres could be a good idea. The city offers you sailing, surfing, fishing and many bike routes. People who admire military equipment will have an opportunity to drive a military vehicle. There is a museum of Polish weapons assembled from the Middle Ages to the present.
