LOCATION
Næstved is the main town of Næstved municipality, in Zealand region. It is located at the south coast of Zealand. You can get there by car from any part of Europe. Of course, it is also possible to travel to Zealand by sea. The Denmark is well known of its bike paths. 5 5°14′0″N 11°46′0″E
1. Sankt Peders Kirke
ATRACTION DESCRIPTION
Næstved town is a part of European Route of Brick Gothic. One of the reasons of that is Sankt Peders Kirke (St. Peter’s Church) which is one of the finest gothic buildings in Denmark. Historically this monumental temple was a monastery. Nowadays it is one of the most iconic medieval buildings in the town. Even Næstved ‘s coast of arms (crossed keys) refers to St. Peters key.
