Kröpeliner Straße is so short, you will certainly reach some old, giant brick building, looking way lost between all these fancy, glass-covered shops. But thereby you can be sure to have found one of Rostock’s most famous sights, the medieval Kröpeliner Tor. Among the huge variety of cultural offers, there is also a permanent exhibition directly set up in the Kröpeliner Tor, showing the development of the famous city fortification.
