LOCATION

Møn is an island. It is situated in south eastern Denmark in Region Zealand 54°59′N 12°21′E. The area is about  237 km². The biggest town on the island is Stege. It’s population is about 3,8 thousands citizens. The Møn island is communicated with the continental Denmark with Queen Alexandrine Bridge also called simply Mønbroen and  Farø Bridges. The best way to get there is by car.

SCENIC CHARACTER

Møn is a quiet and peaceful place, where a human still seem to be a guest not a host.  Stege town is small, and charming. You will find there a lot of local restaurants, where you can get fresh fish. No matter beautiful character of the town the most unforgettable experience is provided by the nature. Monumental cliffs gives an opportunity to consider how powerful the sea really is. The Møn island is a perfect idea for a one day trip by car to see some old-age churches and magnificent panoramas.

ATTRACTIONS

The most common reason to visit Møn are white chalk cliffs called Møn Klint. Cliffs are about 130 meters high, and they are one of the highest on the Baltic coast. Another important attraction are bridges. Queen Alexandrine Bridge Is 745,5 meters long.
