ATTRACTIONS

Already in the ninth century there was a Slavic fortress here, and in the 12th century, a city existed here. From the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries, valuable monuments have survived to this day, in the form of temples and city walls. In the center of the market square, surrounded by four-storey houses, is the Town Hall. The present Town Hall was built of brick in 1701, in place of the XV century building, which burned down in 1696. In the Town Hall there is the seat of the authorities of the Town.

An important point in Trzebiatów is undoubtedly the church built in the years 1305-1370. The church is 62 meters long and 28 wide. The entrance to it creates the porch of a 90-meter tower, which in the Middle Ages served as a lighthouse, despite the significant distance of Trzebiatów from the Sea, which is 10 km away, is an important landmark to this day. At the height of two-thirds of the tower there is an observation deck, from which there is a magnificent view of the surrounding area.
