ATTRACTIONS

The Vistula Lagoon is a basin of marine internal waters. This is a great place for inland sailors who thinks about sea swimming. A big problem is the small depth of the Lagoon and shallow ports and fairways. Freely sailing here is a yacht with a draft of up to one meter. The lagoon has also a lot of attractions and places to visit: Planetarium in Frombork, the Museum of the Vistula Lagoon in Kąty Rybackie and beautiful sea beaches of the Vistula Spit. Each port is in a different style. Gwarna Krynica Morska is adjacent to a quiet, old haven in Kąty Rybackie. The small towns of Frombork or Tolkmicko is completely different from the typical Masurian marina in Jagodne. The New Pasłęka, in turn, is the peace of mind. Due to the high natural values, the entire Polish part of the Vistula Lagoon has been covered by two areas of Natura 2000. The Vistula Lagoon is also one of the most important reproductive areas of herring in the South Baltic.
