ATTRACTIONS
Miedwie Lake is one of the largest lakes in Poland charming tourists with beautiful landscape, calm and peace. It has the cleanest and the widest inland beaches in the voivodeship. The length of the shoreline is about 39 km. Recreational activities are concentrated mainly on the northern end of the lake, where the banks are flat and sandy. Miedwie showcase is the amphitheater shaped like a sail emerging from the water. It is a place of dreams for anglers and other enthusiasts of active leisure, who will find plenty of attractions there. Due to its shallow water and sandy bed the lake provides excellent conditions for canoeing, diving, sailing, windsurfing and kitesurfing. The eastern part, on the other hand, is less accessible for visitors. It has steep and marshy banks overgrown with reed, that are a shelter for numerous water fowl.
