LOCATION

It is an open-air museum located on the quay of the Dziwna River. There are several objects here – replicas of early medieval Wolin (today the number of objects is 27 huts, 2 gates with ramparts and fortifications, port wharf).

ATTRACTIONS 

Visiting the buildings, residential and craft houses, you can see how everyday life of old people could look like, how they lived and worked. Inside the huts you will see replicas and stylizations of furniture, tools and everyday objects from 1000 years ago. All equipment can be touched, you can also self-test the operation of various tools or for example sit on ”historical” chairs or lie on the bed. Every year in Wolin is organize the Viking Festival on the first weekend of August. It is an international event, attracting over 30,000 visitors every year.
