PALANGA SURFING HOTSPOTS

In the most of the summertime the Palanga Beach is very crowded so wind and kite surfing spots are located a couple km north to the main beach, a bit aside but still a walking distance to the city. The spots are close to the broad sandy beach, waters are relatively shallow, bottom is sandy the wind direction typically is north west. Offshore winds blow from the east. The places are good both for beginners and advanced kite and wind surfers. Local surfing schools assure the education for beginners. The place is very popular for surf camps organizing, especially for youth and families in the summertime.
