SCENIC CHARACTER

The island is entirely a protected area of “Natura 2000”. Hanö is the windiest place in Sweden outside the mountains. Hanö has a marine climate typical of southern Sweden, but with a narrower temperature range than the interior of Blekinge due to its exposed location. According to the legends, tourists can find ground pits in mystical forest, made of footprints of a giant. There are only around a dozen permanent inhibitants. The island is full of grassy landscapes and car free.

ATTRACTIONS
