ATTRACTIONS
Kretinga is so-called Lithuanian Vatican, because there are five monasteries located in there. Each of four female monasteries and one male monasteries has it’s own unique stories of foundation, and the monasteries themselves reveal interesting facts about activities of their communities, share inspiring life stories. Visiting Franciscan brothers it’s possible to climb the church tower, visit unique crypt where prominent personalities, family members of Jonas Karolis Chodkevičius are buried.
