1. Restaurant Barracuda, Gdynia, Poland, wide range of cold waters fish, located at the Gdynia Promenade. Modern design in modern city.
2. Borwin Hafenrestaurant, Rostock, Germany, fish restaurant with wide choice of northern waters fish. Located just in the Harbour of Rostock
3. Molinis ąsotis, Palanga, Lithuania, excellent Lithuanian cousine including fish and seafoods section. Located in the downtown Palanga.
4. Nexø Gamle Røgeri, Nexø Bornholm, meals from smoked fish on spot, tasty herrings, associated by local store selling smoked fish on spot. Worth visiting.
5. Limhamns Fiskrökeri, Malmö, fish store with lunch section, all is fresh, simple and good.
6. Grona Stugan in Kalmar, short drive from Oland Island, Scandinavian cousine, place looks simple, but serving and outlook is very creative. Tasty.
B. Regional foodstuffs
1. Rostock Harbour fish stands, offer fish snacks all the year round. You can taste 2-3 snacks in different stands and be filled for lunch or breakfast.
2. Bo Ze Wsi , farmers’ products bazar in Gdynia, twice weekly, Thursdays and Saturdays up to 17.00
3. Gut Darss, Born auf dem Darss, Island Rugen, farmers market in the farm, plenty ecological foods and meats. Nice place for children, alive animals.
4. Möllevångstorget, Drottningtorget, Malmö; local fruits and vegetables, mushrooms etc,
5. Gdański Bazar Natury, Gdansk, farmers’ products, Thursday afternoon, Saturday until late afternoon.
6. Szczeciński Bazar Smakoszy, Szczecin farmers’ products, one a week, in summer time once a month.

Food purchase in not a problem in the whole region: all region countries offer a variety of restaurants, sophisticated and simple eating places, typically one can also eat some warm meals at food markets. Prices differ significantly depending on the offer and restaurants ranks. For budget tourist it is highly recommendable to use the option “cheap restaurant” in the internet browser what in numerous cases means popular food, big turnover, freshness and local tastes. Many types of food places are very unique like Polish milk bars, which provide variety of typical home food. In Lithuania local food markets offer sour vegetables what is a unique experience also. In all region countries organized supermarkets networks nearly eliminated independent food stores and the access to the real farmers’ products is relatively difficult.
