Roskilde is the main city in Roskilde municipality, which is located on the Danish island of Zealand. It is well communicated. You can get there by car from any part of Europe. Of course, it is also possible to travel to Zealand by sea. The Danmark is well known of its bike paths. There is a four-platform railway station in Roskilde. The main airport is Copenhagen Airport. The exposition contains 5 historical boats, and some reconstructed ones. It is possible to board one of the replicas, which is great experience for kids. The stuff organizes also ship cruises near the bay, many workshops connected to handcraft, and ship building, and lessons for children.
