ATRACTION DESCRIPTION
Vidmantas Gendvilas Grows Samogitian breed horses and invites guests to explore the Žemaitukai breed horses, order riding lessons. There is an interesting 15 km long riding trail in Gandinga Landscape Reserve which can be booked in advance. Horses for photo sessions can also be booked.
Žemaitukai is an ethnic Lithuanian horse breed, one of the oldest in Europe, known since the VI-VII century. These horses are small, enduring, strong legs, agile and maneuvering – helped the Samogitians and Lithuanians to win the famous battles of Sun, Durbe and Grunwald and belongs to the historical and cultural heritage of our nation.
