LOCATION
Karlskrona – is a city spread over thirty islands in the east of Blekinge archipelago. The city centre is located on the island called Trossö. It is communicated with Malmö by motorway. Available also from the sea, a ferry route. The city is the capital of the Swedish Blekinge County, 56°11′N 15°39′E.

SCENIC CHARACTER
The city – the former seat of the Royal Swedish Navy maintains its old character. Karlskrona preserved old fortifications with the Bastion Aurora as an example. Picturesque small houses in Björkholmen (a district of shipyard workers and seamen) from the beginning of the 18thcentury are breathtaking. Some of them have mirrors so that wives could see husbands going home. There are 25 nature reserves with beautiful surroundings in the city. Karlskrona is a suitable place for people who like running, riding a bike or paddling.
ATTRACTIONS
The Museum of the Navy is the most visited museum in Sweden, very modern, where you may shoot from the cannon. Many restaurants, bars, cafes with a view of the sea where you may try not only local specialties, but food from all over the world. You may try fishing. Many shops with agricultural produce or handicraft.
