9. Kayaking in Brda river and visiting Bory Tucholskie National Park

The Brda river is located in northern Poland, it is the left tributary of the Vistula.

Bory Tucholskie National Park is located in the Brda and Wda basin.

ATTRACTION

The Brda river is one of the best developed tourist canoe trails and well prepared river marking system in Poland. It makes Brda an easy trail, ideal for calm family rafting and for beginner canoeists. Its characteristic feature is an extremely varied winding course, vast forests growing along the banks and beautiful lakes.

Bory Tucholskie National Parkis one of the largest pine forest complexes in Poland full of plants and animals, which in many cases can be found only here, just like yews, oaks, hornbeams or birches. The forestry fleece is rich in various types of mushrooms and forest fruits. Characteristic feature of Bory Tucholskie is also the remains of the primeval forest and unique species of birds such as white-tailed eagle, capercaillie or gray heron.
