National parks hotspots in 4 countries: Germany: Rügen Island, Kargow , Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania; Sweden: Simrishamn, Ljungbyhed, Skåne, Eriksberg; Lithuania: Plateliai, Plungė, Palanga Beach, Klaipėda and Curonian Lagoon, Poland: Międzyzdroje, Smołdzino, Przesieki, provinces of Warmińsko-Mazurskie. Route is enriched with biking activities (Plateliai, Palanga, Klaipėda), hiking activities (Skana, Jasmund ), bird watching and nature sightseeing: dunes, lagoons, rivers, lakes and wildlife.
Route Concept: “DATING WITH NATURE”
This route is one of the best way to explore nature and to make an acquaintance with its wildlife. This route is self-guided and is intended to help you plan your own adventure. Travelers can add parks or subtract depending on available time. It is recommended allow for travelers as much time as possible to explore these spectacular parks. Travelers can choose different ways of exploring nature: it can be made by biking, kayaking, walking trails or even horse riding. In many parks it is highly recommend to try sustainable tourism: bird watching, see wild animals, hiking and so on. These parks are home to many rare plants and animals. This route include some objects from UNESCO Word Heritage List. Exploration trip offers to visit and have a great time in nearby surroundings: museums, to have attractions in local farms.
