LOCATION

Stralsund is located at the Southern coast in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern of the Baltic Sea, and separates the island of Rügen from the mainland. It has the fixed link to the mainland, the Strelasund Crossing, which runs between Stralsund and the island, offen called as the “Gateway to the Island of Rügen”.
