Palanga is a city along the Baltic Sea, 25 km north of Klaipėda. Palanga has International Airport, 7km from the center, and highway road A11 connecting cities to Kretinga, Plungė, Telšiai and others.

SCENIC CHARACTER

Palanga, the summer capital of Lithuania is the most popular beach resort and rehabilitation centre due to white soft sandy beaches, dunes, pine forests, fresh seafront weather. Everyone may feel a fantastic ambience while walking the promenade on main Basanavičius street full of many entertainments and attractions, which also have many live restaurants, cafes and shops, and ends up to the Sea bridge, where you get an unforgettable scenic view of the Baltic Sea. Palanga is proud of having the most unique museum of Amber, one of the biggest in the world, and Botanical Park, which also holds the status of the most beautiful and best-preserved parks in Eastern Europe.

Possibility to rent bicycles and drive around the city, visit the Church tower of virgin Mary and take a look at Palanga from a great height. Enjoy the promenade on Basanavicius street full of entertainments and the Sea bridge for spectacular view. Visit the Amber museum and its park, beautiful for legendary Birutė hill and its chapel, history dating since XIX century.
