ATTRACTIONS

Laxaleden is a 30-km long hiking trail that follows the Mörrumsån’s path through Blekinge’s beautiful farmland and woodland. It runs from the old town of Elleholm in the south to Hovmansbygd in the north. At Åkeholm it connects to Blekingeleden.

There are lots of information boards along the trail that inform you of the history and culture that shaped life around this powerful and bounteous watercourse – in total there are around 100 of them, at various points. There is a free app for Laxaleden, Hiking in Karlshamn, that can be downloaded and used on both iPhone and Android mobile phones.
