LOCATION

The park takes approximately 101,3 ha place, out of which woods – 60ha, meadows 24,5 ha,  flower gardens 0,5 ha, water 1,16 ha. Beaches and park on the coastal area is approximately 1,5 km long. Various paths and roads takes approximately 18 km.

ATTRACTIONS

Amber Museum, located in earl palace, is surrounded by Palanga botanical park, founded in the end of the 19th century. Project author – famous French landscape designer Edouard Francois Andre, who has spent a few summers together with his son managing the foundation of the park.

The park is located in a sacred Birutė forest territory and for a long time named called Birutė’s park by the locals. There are eight building of various purpose, seven sculptures and lots of small architecture forms, ponds.
