This museum was founded in earl Tiškevičius palace on the coast of the Baltic sea, near the beach.

ATTRACTIONS

This division of Lithuanian Art Museum in Palanga exhibits amber, it’s amber and articles thereof and provides information on this subject. The exhibition shows everything from formation of amber to unique and modern amber articles. The museum stores over 28 000 amber exhibits, and 15 000 of them have incluses (insects stuck inside). Approximately 4 500 amber articles are exhibited, majority of which is various articles and jewellery. Various concerts, other cultural events, educations for the children and the adults take place in the museum.
