LOCATION
The Museum of the National Anthem is situated in Będomin. Będomin is a village located about 40 kilometres from Gdańsk within Kościerzyna County in the Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland and is communicated with main Polish cities by roads. 54°08′N 18°07′E.

ATTRACTION DESCRIPTION
Będomin is a village where Józef Wybicki who is the author of the Polish national anthem (“Dąbrowski’s Mazurka”) was born. The Museum of the National Anthem is located in a manor house belonging once to the Wybicki family. There are exhibitions such as: “Polish national symbols”, “Józef Wybicki and his epoch”, “The fate of Dąbrowski’s Mazurka”. Wybicki was a Polish writer and a politician who was elected a deputy at the age of 20 in 1767. There is also a so-called monument of nature in Będomin. You can admire more than 400-year-old oak in Będomin. It is called Wybicki’s oak – in honour of this famous inhabitant.
