LOCATION

Mosede is a part of Greve municipality in Zealand Region. It is located on east part of Zealand island. It is about 30 km from Copenhagen. It takes 26 minutes from the capitol city by car. Of course there are other options. If you prefer to travel by train, choose line A or E. It is also possible to travel by the sea. There is a harbor in Mosede and marina in Hundige. 55°33′50″N 12°16′29″E

ATRACTION DESCRIPTION

The aim of Mosede Fort was to defend Denmark from potential German invasion during the First World War. It was active during the Second World War. Since 1970 it is opened to public. Nowadays it become very interesting interactive museum for all interested in military history. The exposition focuses mostly on The First World War period. There are also special events and workshops for kids.
