The philharmonic in Szczecin (the Mieczysław Karłowicz Philharmonic) is a philharmonic with over 70 years of tradition. Musicians can perform in a modern building that looks like a very huge block of ice. In addition, the building is illuminated late in the evening and at night. There are two concert halls, including a symphony hall for about 1,000 people and a gallery where you will find exhibitions of well-known artists. The Szczecin Philharmonic also offers the musical education for children. They can hear and see instruments from a very short distance. The Szczecin Philharmonic can be visited with a guide who speaks English. You will never forget it, because it is an icon of European architecture.
