LOCATION

Sopot is the best known resort city in Poland 54°26′31″N 18°33′35″E.  Along with Gdańsk and Gdynia it constitutes a well known conurbation called Tricity. Its well communicated. Tricity has its airport. It’s possible to get there by bus, or by sea. However most comfortable would be to travel by train. Sopot is one of few cities in Poland connected with Pendolino trains.

Every city in Tricity has its own character. There is historical Gdańsk, modern Gdynia and energetic Sopot. During the day it’s a great place for sunbathing or water sports and after the sunset it becomes a polish clubbing capital. The place of endless parties.

ATTRACTIONS

The biggest attraction of Sopot is the longest wooden pier in Europe. Its 511,5 m long. It’s the best place to watch sailing races or just enjoy the view of a seashore. Another place when you can see the magnificent panorama is a 39 m high lantern. Sopots nightlife concentrates mostly near seashore, and promenade. The enormous amount of clubs effects that promenade is full of cheery people even after the midnight.
