ATTRACTIONS
The palace and park complex of the von Kamecke family. The larger of the palaces, romantic and secession, called Amber, was built in 1899-1901, and the park adjoins it. The smaller is the neoclassical White palace from 1912. The surrounding park from the eighteenth / nineteenth century has elements of a geometric French garden. icehouse, water tower, hydrofornia and ruined tomb of the owners.
The setting is really noteworthy. The gardens look very picturesque and are very well cared for. Attention is drawn to interesting figures cut from hedgerows.
In the gardens grow rhododendrons, cypresses, plane trees, magnolias, yew trees, cork, mulberries and very rare white sycamores. The sculpture of the park is made of stone sculptures. Most of them are over 100 years old.
In addition to large palace ponds, there are many smaller water reservoirs, some of them hide huge stone statues of heads, resembling those from Easter Island.
