LOCATION

Łeba is a small town in the Pomeranian Voivodeship in northern Poland. It is located between Łebsko Lake and Sarbsko Lake by the mouth of the Łeba River on the coast of the Baltic Sea, what makes it very attractive for tourists. It is communicated with Tri-city with roads. Car ride from Gdynia to Łeba takes one hour and forty minutes. It is also available from the sea. 54°47′N 17°33′E.

ATTRACTIONS 

Łeba is one of the most popular holiday resorts on the Polish coast. It is known for its specific climate and wide sandy beaches. This picturesque town is surrounded on three sides with water – on the north by the Baltic Sea, on the west by the Łebsko lake and on the east by the Sarbsko lake. Łeba is mostly known for nearby moving dunes. It is an extremely rare phenomenon in Europe. Moving dunes reach between 30 and 40 meters with the highest forty-meter Łącka Dune. They are a part of the Słowiński National Park, which was recognized by UNESCO as a world biosphere reserve. The city of Łeba also has and a rich tourist offer – horse farm, rope park, butterfly exhibition and Łeba Park with live-size dinosaur figures. Along the picturesque boardwalk many restaurants, bars and pubs serve regional delicacies – sea fish dishes.
