ATTRACTION DESCRIPTION
The dendrology garden in Wirty (The Wirty Arboretum) was created thanks to intensive cooperation with German botanical gardens in Berlin and in Eberswald. The garden was founded in the 19thcentury. At that time there was a trend for planting species from other climatic zones so that people could admire some exotic plants. There are over 450 varieties of trees and bushes in the dendrology garden in Wirty. The garden in Wirty consists of four parts: a dendrological garden, European vegetation, American vegetation and Asian vegetation. This garden is a great walking space providing environmental education.
