LOCATION
Hasle is a town in Bornholm Municipality, Capital Region, which is located on the west coast of Bornholm Island. The best way to get there is by car or by bike. Denmark is well known of its bicycle paths. Hasle is situated in the middle of a path from Rønne to Allinge. If you prefer to travel by bus, choose line 1 or 8 in Rønne.
1. Smokehouse in Hastle
ATRACTION DESCRIPTION
Many buildings on the Bornholm island have a characteristic big chimney, which is of course a smokehouse. Many of them are disabled, some of them are still active. The best-known smokehouse on an island is located in Hasle town. There is a museum, restaurant and a smokehouse; all in one place. You can learn there a lot of interesting things about local culture, and most importantly eat a delicious herring.
