LOCATION
Darłowo is a coastal town in northwestern Poland, in Western Pomerania. It is located on the Baltic Sea, in the valley of the Wieprza and Grabowa Rivers, on the Koszaliński Coast, GPS 54°42′N 16°41′E.

SCENIC CHARACTER
There are more than 6 km of sandy beaches, very wide and tempting for rest in Darłowo. The exceptional microclimate makes this place ideal for tourist searching for peaceful spa (there is a very high level of iodine due to the closeness of the Baltic Sea). Darłowo is a unique resortalso because of the neighbourhood of two lakes: Kopań and Bukowo. Darłowo city is charming with its history and offers many attraction for tourists.
ATTRACTIONS
Darłowo is a town with deep maritime history (a port in Darłowo was set up in 8 th century) and fishing tradition. During summer, a cruise ship to Bornholm (the Danish island) runs from Darłowo once a week. Cruises for sea fishing are organized for anglers. There are trips available along the road to the Darłowo port with stylized historical ships. Surfcasting – fishing from the shore is also practiced there. Darłowo is acclaimed to be fishing capital of Poland. Here travelers can catch a lot of cod, but also Wieprza and Grabowa Rivers are full of bull routs, trouts, salmons and graylings.
