Jazz festivals take place in Sopot. It is a city in the Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland and is communicated with main Polish cities by roads and railways. It lies between Gdańsk and Gdynia. 54°26′N 18°33′E.

ATTRACTION DESCRIPTION
Sopot has been famous for different types of music festivals for decades. The first jazz music festival took place in Sopot in 1956 and since then jazz music has become very popular throughout Poland and other then socialist countries. Not only Polish performers, but also artists of great world renown participate in many jazz festivals that take place in Sopot. Concerts take place in Sopot, but often in various places. Sopot Molo Jazz Festival took place in the historic concert shell by the largest wooden pier in Europe (Molo) in August 2018. Artists performed on the chamber stage of the Teatr Wybrzeże and in the Grand Hotel in October 2018.
