LOCATION

Trzebiatów is a town in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, located by the Rega River in the north-western part of Poland, about 9 kilometers south of the Baltic Sea coast. It is communicated with closest cities – Szczecin and Koszalin – with roads and railway.Car ride from Szczecin takes an hour and a half and from Koszalin – 1 hour and 15 minutes. 54°03′N 15°16′E.

ATTRACTIONS 

Trzebiatów is a town with a medieval lineage, what is reflected in the chessboard layout of its oldest part. This historical heritage brings a whole selection of tourist attractions. The town hall dates back to the beginning of the 18th century, but there are located relics of a former town hall dating from the 15th century. It is also worth visiting the palace in Trzebiatów – a building with a long and complicated history. In past it was a residence of, among others, a convent, barracks, school and – of course – a palace. Within the old city walls there are many historic tenement houses – the evidence of former city’s glory. On the wall of one of them there is a very interesting image from the 17th century of a circus elephant made in the sgraffito technique. Quiet character of the town aid sightseeingat an easy pace.
