MALMÖSURFING HOTSPOTS

All Malmösurfing hotspots are located on the western shore of Skåne, alongside the Öresundstrait, the place where salty waters of the North Sea mix with more sweeter Baltic Sea waters. The exposition to the west creates good wind conditions, however for the most of the year waves are low or moderate (typically flat).  Small beaches and grassland areas border with the most of hotspots what allows for comfortable access to the sea. Those characteristics decide that the most of hotspots is suitable for wind surfing and kite surfing courses organized by numerous surfing schools.  The diversification of coast types around Malmö  assures both shallow waters and deeper bottoms what is suitable for different types of surfing.
