SCENIC CHARACTER
Höör borders with landscapes and forests in the north, and with fields and farms in the south. There are many lakes in the countryside like Ringsjön (second largest lake in Skåne),Vaxsjön and Dagstorpssjön. It is mostly an agricultural area.
ATTRACTIONS
Höör is a very good point to start outdoor activities as hiking and biking for example the Skåne Trail – Skåneleden. In the close area of Höör travelers can find several places worth visiting like woods and lakes around Frostavallen, zoo with Nordic animals – Skånes Djurpark and public park, garden and a castle, established in the 12th century, with a beautiful view over the lake Ringsjön -Bosjökloster slot. There are several places to swim and fish around Höör.Höör town is small but very interesting and dynamic. Many cultural events take place as concerts, summer opera, Baroque Music Festival. There is a jazz club and art exhibitions.
